Hummingbird Moth in Valleriana, Toscana, Italia, Images by Kelly Borsheim
This is very interesting. Never heard of or saw one of those. So tiny. We haven’t had many hummers at the house. Maybe because there is so much natural vegetation this summer. It’s been hot but not as bad as some years. Always nice to hear from you.

Hi Jo! I never knew these hummingbird moths existed until I saw one one day and was shocked since I knew hummers do not visit Italy. Mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteSounds as if your summer was a bit like ours.. unusual but cooler.
Happy Labor Day weekend!
Hugs,
Kelly
